First Class Nursery session fees
OUR PRICES
- Additional hours (agreed in writing) are charged at £7.00 per hour
- Extra sessions may be available on request if numbers allow
- Fees are due monthly in advance
- Fees are calculated on an annual basis and include provision for the 6 days per year the Nursery closes (these are at Christmas and New Year)
ELC FUNDING
First Class Nursery was recently successful in tendering to become a partnership provder with West Lothian Council, effective from 11th August 2020.
- Funded ELC is currently 1,140 hours (from August 2020)
- Full sessions normally run 8am – 6pm. However hours are flexible based on parent’s requirements
- ELC funding rolls for 1 academic year.
- Sessions can be used Monday to Friday 50 weeks per year!
- Funded hours are for a full week – over 50 weeks - calculated at 22.8 hours per week
- Sessions can last no longer than 10 hours per day
- You can choose to use as many days as you like per year, but as soon as your funding hours ‘run out’ you will be expected to pay for these yourselves, until the new term starts
- Part time care can also be allocated for children and parents who do not want their child attending nursery for a full session. An example of this could be 0800-1430 X 3 days
For example, if your child was to turn 3 in December, you would not be entitled to the full 1140 for that academic year, as full year funding started in August

Childcare Vouchers
Our Nursery accepts childcare vouchers and we will be more than happy to assist in completing the required forms if you are eligible for tax and credit grants.

| Half day morning sessions: | 07:30 - 12:30 hrs |

- Healthy snacks and drinks are included for all children, as well as fresh milk every day.
- Nappies, wipes and cream are provided for babies and tweenies.
- Lunches are included for all AM and Full Day Sessions. PM Sessions do not include lunch
- All Baby & Infant meals are cooked fresh each day, by qualified chef's according to nutritional guidelines for pre-birth to 5's'
- The Nursery closes for 6 days per year. These are 4 days at Christmas and 2 days at New Year.
- For families who have more than one child attending the Nursery, a discount of 10% will be applied to the fees of the oldest child.
- The management reserves the right to change the fees at any time. At least one month's notice will be given.
